We took a drive through in early July 2019 and really liked what we saw. Large, private sites - some nice waterfront sites. The campground was very peaceful and secluded. Perfect place for people looking for a true camping experience. The park has 2 beaches and a boat launch. The road in, although paved, is a bit rough and bring your bug spray!

Update from July 2020:

Downgrading to 4 stars because of some issues:

Had a great stay on site #23. We rented 2 canoes one afternoon and were told (after paying) that they only had 3 paddles to give us for 2 canoes and 4 people - strange we thought but then when we were out on the lake we saw another Ontario parks canoe with 3 people in it and EACH person had a paddle. I had asked the gate attendant why they were short paddles and she had flat out lied and said that they were missing paddles. The gate attendant is the one who supplies the paddles and had obviously given 3 for one canoe right before we picked up ours. Also, the park lets hikers and back country campers park in the trailer turn-around at the end of the park which made it extremely difficult for us to leave the park with our travel trailer. It would make a lot more sense to have a proper parking area for the hikers and back-country campers.
