Edit: Don't be fooled into thinking that their response to negative reviews implies that they care: the service manager got so upset when i made a complaint to the general manager that he stopped wanting to help me, and told me to come get my unfixed car from his department.

Probably the worst BMW service department in the GTA. I brought my car in 3 times for the same engine noise, and every time they failed to diagnose it properly. The first two while it was under warranty, and they told me to monitor it, the 3rd outside of the warranty and they recommended a costly $12,000 repair.

That repair didn t fix the noise, it returned after I took it around the block (one wonders if they even test drove it after the repair). When I brought it back things took a turn for the worse: they said that only one person could listen to the noise and he was on vacation for two weeks (I would have to wait, without a loaner for the man to return before they even look at it), and they started blaming me for the noise, suggesting that it was probably unrelated to the previous noise and that it was my responsibility .

BMW Canada won t do anything to enforce any sort of quality standards at their private dealerships either, so don t expect them to do much mitigation for you.

If you have a BMW that needs some repairs under warranty or not it s probably worth the drive to another dealership that isn t owned by this same group.
