Cyndi C Review of Regional Hospice and Home Care

Quite frankly, I have never seen a hospice facility like Regional. The nurses and aids are the kindest, most compassionate people I have ever come in contact with. My sister has been here for several months now. My sister is well taken care of. They make sure she is fed, she is cleaned, her clothes are washed, dried and folded, they will comfort her when fears overcome her and we are not with her. The kitchen staff will make anything that she asks for. They are more than accommodating. The volunteers are truly angels on earth. They are so helpful and kind and compassionate. They will feed my sister if she can t feed herself and we, her family, are not here. They will sit and talk with her. They will just sit with her if she feels lonely when we are not here. Regional Hospice has been a godsend to my sister, but more so to us, her family. Knowing she is safe and well cared for gives us all a sense of peace.
When it became clear to us that my sister could not take care of herself and that it was dangerous for her to be home alone, we took action. We went to five different end of life facilities throughout New York & New Jersey. We decided on one and out of nowhere someone mentioned Regional Hospice. While it takes us about an hour to get here (some of us three), we knew this was the place for her. Without hesitation, I highly recommend Regional Hospice and Palliative Care Center.
