Haven t received food stamps in over a year. They just sent me a letter saying I owe everything I ever Received due to an error they made. I can t afford to pay this back? I gave all the correct information to them. All the supporting documents. I never lied or got over paid. I have 2 small children and I m a single mother. What am I supposed to do? I can t pay it back and if I don t they ll take it from my taxes they said and it can go on my credit. Every time I call the office the voice mail is full. I went there multiple times but the waits were so long and I had my kids I had to leave.
