Attended the Haunted History of Henderson Castle Dinner & Tour on September 23rd and all I can say is SAVE YOUR MONEY! First, our tour consisted of a walk down the stairs and outside to the cemetery across the street. Once we arrived at the Henderson grave site we simply stood around and listened to various stories of supposed haunting's. That was the full extent of our tour. Then back to the castle to wait on our dinner which took hours to serve as the wait staff had to hand carry trays of food up three floors from the basement. Needless to say our food was served to our table at close to 9 pm, was cold and not at all worth the $87 paid for the gourmet meal we were promised. In addition, we ran out of dressing for the salad at our table, among other things, and had to wait almost 20 minutes for someone to walk down to the basement to get more and bring it back up. The presentation by the Southern Michigan Paranormal Society was lackluster at best and the live EVP session was a disaster. I was extremely disappointed and would not recommend this event to anyone interested in real haunted history or a good meal. I held back from rating this as a "1" because the castle is beautiful and therefore worth a visit if you are in the area.
