Horrific experience. My kitten had a laceration on her tail and was seen at the hospital (Guilford location) three times in a week, underwent 3 surgeries. In the end she required a partial tail amputation. The 3 procedures cost $3000. Aside from Dr. Krein and Dr. Wood who were lovely, the staff were rude, unprofessional and disorganized. Watch your charges. As indicated in other reviews, they grossly inflate costs for medications and treatments. You and your pet are better off anywhere but here.

In response to Central s response:

Dr Lansdowne did nothing to help our kitten. In fact, just 6 days from her expert intervention, our kitten had to have ANOTHER amputation to rectify the horrific work Dr Lansdowne performed. Thank your Dr Lansdowne for the horrific infection you left us to contend with?? I don t think so! How do you discharge a kitten without antibiotic after an invasive surgery?! Mind boggling!

Furthermore, your pricing is inconsistent within your own facility and you inflate prices. You led us to believe that our kitten required repair by a surgeon, with an epidural and ICU stay, which made our costs nearly triple. That s not because your facility is open 24 hours- that s because you push unnecessary expenditures. The veterinarian who performed the repair amputation did so on an outpatient basis and without an epidural. And guess what? Our kitten is actually on the mend now, since having surgery performed by a competent and caring veterinarian outside your practice....not that you care in the least about the animals!!
