I was in Georgetown on the hottest day in march 2017 and my friend suggested a cupcake from baked and wired. I was skeptical bc so many cupcake shops people rave about serve dry, underwhelming cake in a cup with a tower of icing. Not this place. My strawberry vanilla cupcake was super moist, contained chunks of strawberries, and was lightly frosted with a buttercream icing. It had some weight to it too--the moistness of the cake, maybe?
I cannot wait to take another trip to the Georgetown area to stop in Baked and Wired.
