I went to EVMS, initially, because I was having problems where I thought a constant string of second opinions might be helpful. Between scheduling my initial appointment, and actually being seen, I had a major issue that led to other doctors diagnosing what's been wrong with me since around puberty. (I was 30 when I was finally diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.)

The residents and faculty at EVMS, though, have been wonderful helping me stay on top of the MS treatments, and overall health. My wife who was not particularly happy with her early visits, has grown to appreciate them after seeing some of the newer residents, and seeing the faculty handle my issues.

Sparing the fifth star from the stumbles getting started as a patient, but I do wholeheartedly recommend EVMS to friends and neighbors in Downtown/Ghent.
