I write this review 7 months after my trip. Let me start off that im a train enthusiast I love to travel to different train themed vacations. The hotel booking and stay was wonderful with no glitches. Souvenir shop was nice in the historic Station. The conductor that was assigned to our car had a plethora of knowledge of wildlife. I understand people come from all over the world to visit the Grand Canyon and may not be familiar with the climate and critters, but I felt like I was overwhelmed with the let me show you and now touch of his stuffed animal collection etc. Several of us (my family) just wanted to look out the window and soak in the beauty of the landscape without the constant PA system in your ear. I couldn't talk with my family and enjoy the trip. The Music was pleasant and enjoyable, the guitarist even took a request of playing "I've been working on the Railroad" tipped the guy very well. The accommodations for having a person in my party in a electric mobile device worked under the circumstances. I had extra hands to help in my party. By the time the conductor was given a tip I was out of cash for the train robbers and felt bad. But I was ok not giving them any thing. I felt they were just walking the aisle looking for a hand out without the entertainment element. Im very sad to hear the Steam program is shut down now. Over all I give a generous 3 stars because I love trains and music. Have the conductor back off on the animal info and give more history of the railroad and stuff a sock in it on the ride back to Williams.
