The dunes themselves were beautiful. However, the one person manning the entrance is inefficient and time consuming. We tried to beat some of the heat but ended up sitting in traffic for an hour. Then, after sweating and torturing our feet, we stop at the visitors center and get welcomed to non working restrooms (portable toilets swarming with flies and no wash station or hand sanitizer were available) and a non-working drink machine. That was VERY disappointing!
