This hotel was disappointing. For the price of a room, I expect much more.

The biggest offense was the housekeeping. It was disgraceful - the first room we were assigned actually had garbage left on the dresser and hadn't been dusted. We switched to another room, and the sink clearly hadn't been cleaned but everything else was tolerable so we stayed. Again, hadn't been dusted.

Further, the interior was severely rundown. I would expect a hotel of this caliber to constantly update its interior and furnishings. It's hard to look clean and fresh when the bathroom is so old that the grout is discoloring.

The only positives of this place is it's location which is probably why you're looking at it. It's a convenient walk to the hot springs and gondola which have small and crowded parking lots. But if you can navigate the public bus, I highly recommend you do that and stay elsewhere.
