Recently, my late-father had multiple strokes and I found myself traveling back and forth between my home state and MN. I decided to eliminate most of my expenses and move home to be financially and emotionally supportive for my family. I contacted Ron to cancel my membership in mid-March. Instead of helping me cancel my membership, Ron pressured me to stay with the gym, even suggesting that I continue to pay him for a service I would not be using and living in a different state. Once I made it clear that my resolve was to move home, Ron completely ceased all contact, refusing to return my e-mails or phone calls, even though I have been cordial and friendly throughout the entire interaction. I am still be charged for my membership, even though I have not been able to visit the gym in months. Instead, I have been traveling back and forth between states to visit my father, and eventually attend his funeral.

Is being ripped off and given the run around really what I have to deal with right now? It's sad that Ron feels the need to be so dishonest to maintain his business. The website is also clunky and sends you in circles, leading you all back to contacting Ron. Ron won't provide you any information or assist you in anyway, unless you're interested in signing up for a new membership. But apparently once you're in, the only way to get out is through disputes or litigation. Is it worth the headache?? Maybe try Anytime Fitness instead.
