I've wanted to try this restaurant, and the garlic...

I've wanted to try this restaurant, and the garlic noodles, for a long long time (decades) but I just never made it to LA/BH, until Saturday!!! I was excited to finally have the chance. Due to traffic, I had to cancel my reservation and settle for take out. I ordered from the 'An The Go' menu: chicken roll, shaken beef, garlic noodles. The chicken rolls have a strong shrimp/fishy taste. I didnt taste or detect any actual chicken flavor. You get 4 pieces (2 rolls cut in half on the diagonal) and a dipping sauce (NOT sweet and sour). I ate 2 pieces and gave the rest to my son. The fishy taste was too much for me. The shaken beef was very good. Not $42 good, but good. The meat is super tender, cooked perfectly, and the sauce is sweet and savory. The potatoes were good but burned on the bottom. They put the salad (lettuce and halved cherry tomatoes) in a separate container with a side of dressing. The dressing tasted like balsamic with a hint of fish sauce. The garlic noodles were very tasty. Tender noodles with a strong buttery garlic flavor. I really enjoyed the noodles but they overpower anything you eat with them. Its 2 days later and I'm still eating noodles. I enjoyed the meal overall but I dont ever have to go back. My total for 3 dishes was $89. Way too much for what you get. I can check Crustacean off my list of "MUST TRY" restaurants.
