Booked a table for 2 people, arrived to find that ...

Booked a table for 2 people, arrived to find that they had kitchen issues and only a carvery would be served. Disappointing for those of us who had pre selected food from their menu due to dietary restrictions. No one told us they had issues, it was a piece of paper stuck to the door. Given a table and no one came over, had to go to the bar for a drink which isn't an issue. Still no one had told us that only the carvery was available. No menu or listing of what the offerings were. Disappointed, went to nandos instead.

Perhaps a phone call to all those with booked tables explaining the situation would be wise next time to avoid customers walking out
