The hotel was amazing. The room was one of the best ones I've been on, very spacious and nicely decorated. The staff was super helpful. However there were awkward moments where the staff did seem to indicate that they were expecting a tip such as when someone came to unlock my toilet door or when they opened the door every morning. As a person coming from Europe it makes us uncomfortable regardless that we are aware that tipping is common in the US.
