I recently purchased a vehicle through Honda Finance and their customer service was terrible. I picked up my vehicle 2 weeks ago and asked them about changing my loan payment date so that it can coincide with my payroll. I wanted to make sure my finances were in order especially at a time during this global pandemic where employment is being affected. I called for 2 weeks straight and kept getting the answer "the loan hasn't been created yet". Please wait 24 - 48 hours. So I kept calling back and they told me the same thing until it was too late to change my payment date. I spoke to someone who claimed to be a Manager, and they said there is nothing they can do, even after reading the notes on my account and the amount of people i've spoken to. She was not empathetic regarding my situation and said because that is how i signed my contract, i have no recourse. So because they were delayed in creating my loan account, even though i picked up my car June 24, they put the blame on me. As someone who understands the customer service field, this was horrendous, i would not suggest to deal with Honda Finance, and if you do, make sure everything is how you want, before you agree to anything. Never dealing with them again. I have a mind to return my vehicle and get my money back.
