Hardin Memorial Hospital
Elizabethtown Kentucky
Came in on 11/16/18 at about 11:30a I take blood thinners 20 mg a day of Xarelto I was hit in the head by a falling tree limb had a gash little over a half inch long, about a quarter inch deep on my forehead I sat and waited while blood gushing out of my head for over 2 1/2 hours in waiting room, only to be told we have rooms being cleaned & once done we will call you, and wow people coming in signing in going straight to the back for a cough, as I stepped out to smoke a cigarette I heard a nurse with a security guard telling a Vietnam vet that he will have to go somewhere else as the last time he was there he was being too obnoxious and could not be seen there I'm not sure what he was there for but he was turned away. I myself however left Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown Kentucky went to Twin Lakes Medical Hospital in Leitchfield Kentucky and within 15 minutes was signed in taken to the back put into a bed in the emergency room 10 minutes later had a cat-scan after returning to the bed from the Cat scan the Stitches were put in my head and a tetanus shot given and i was signed and released in a total of 48 minutes. It was my first and only experience at Hardin Memorial County Hospital in Elizabethtown Kentucky I will never go back again I hope many people read this and this is all truth the only thing in the waiting room was roughly 8 people maybe 10 one person sitting next to me said that they'd already been there for almost 4 hours before I showed up.
