We went late on a Thursday about an hour before closing. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was inviting. This was a recommendation by a friend and it didn't disappoint. I love BBQ and all that comes with it. We are from out of town and I always seek out the best que spots along the way. Bacon brothers delivered the goods. I got the sampler plate. I found the ribs to be the best and I am not a rib guy. Most places are dry and not much meat. Not at Bacon Bros. Maybe the best ribs I've had anywhere in NC or SC and smoked immaculately. Brisket, pulled pork, and sausage were spot on. I also got the beans and collards. Both were excellent especially the brisket beans. Tons of flavor and well balanced. We also ordered the wings. I loved the sauce and smokiness of them. They had both mustard based and tomato based sauces. I prefer tomato but the mustard base was very well done. You can choose your sauce. My only regret is not getting charcuterie. Their selection looked amazing. Next time I go back I will get it. All around this is what you want in a great BBQ spot. Don't hesitate to stop at Bacon Brothers. You will leave satisfied.
