Review of Sheraton Tampa Riverwalk

One of only a few hotels with balcony in downtown Tampa - Located on/above the Riverwalk in Downtown Tampa, just South of the historic Kennedy/Lafayette St Bridge & next A-Loft on Ashley Drive. The rooms are nice/clean & city view rooms are OK, but try to get your room on the "River Side" - These VIEWS Are AMAZING, especially at Night when the Riverwalk & Bridges are lit and changing colors that reflect on the River... The prices are fair in comparison to similar level hotels in Tampa, but the BALCONY is a very nice positive that many of the competition does not offer, or may only offer with certain rooms... This Sheraton has been here for longer than many in this area, and while it has been updated, including the rooms & it is clean + upscale, you'll definitely be able to tell it's bit more dated than some others in the area, it's primarily with the things like ceiling heights, pool area, etc... which would be way too costly to change vs. just continuing to update the cosmetics and leaving the structural as-is. I would definitely recommend this place for clean, upperscale, central location, VIEWS & Balcony in Every Room.... Like most places, parking & pull-up can be tricky if not familiar... They do have valet service, but if roads/Ashley Drive is busy, then you may pass the entrance/driveway... (When you're traveling South on Ashley Drive from Downtown Exit off i75, keep traveling South on Ashley Dr until you pass the Kennedy St Bridge, you'll then first see "A-Loft" on the corner & immediately after is the entrance into the covered portico for the Sheraton.).
