I had really high expectations for this hotel cons...

I had really high expectations for this hotel considering it s very high rating. Unfortunately, I did not have the chance to enjoy a 4-star experience for the 3 days I stayed here. The front desk service was mediocre. Nothing was offered to me as a guest at check in and finding out pertinent info was like pulling teeth. I understand that there s no concierge due to COVID but a cart wasn t even offered upon checking in. Very different experience than what I have come to expect from a Hilton hotel. The smells in various areas of the hotel was disturbing (side entry door area wreaked of sour, moldy carpet, ice machine area on 3rd floor smelled like rotting trash and deterred me from getting ice at all). Very poor lighting in hallways near the rooms and pool area which made it eerie and downright scary in the evening especially to my kids. Wasn t notified that I needed a separate key for the pool when I asked about it at check in so we stood at the pool area door struggling to get in for 10 minutes before I called the front desk and then they told me. The pool was dirty and had visible large particles and dead bugs floating around. The phone at the pool did not work so I couldn t call the front desk to call them to clean it, so I used the skimmer to clean it myself only because my kids cried and begged me to swim. The deluxe king room felt small and tight especially in the bathroom. Not good for larger people. You can barely close the door without getting stuck between the sink and toilet. The mini-fridge in our room was broken the first night so our leftover food went bad. Pros: Room service did bring us a new fridge pretty quickly so kudos for that! The bed and pillows was amazingly comfortable which is why I gave the 2 stars.

Overall the stay was just ok, but I would not recommend this hotel for more than a 1 night stay.
