Oddly enough, the reception desk closed at 6 pm on the eve of a fully booked ascension day weekend, while traffic was expected to be (and was) a nightmare. So we arrived at a closed reception desk close to 7. Although we had booked by telephone and had specifically indicated that we were travelling with elderly, the chalets were all but inaccessible due to the high steps having no handrail (see image). Roompot would have been excused for advising against us hiring these chalets. More generally, this is a very noisy site. Pitches are small, and rentals are all very close to each other and several of the frequenters play amplified music loudly from morning to night. Same goes for the restaurant, very noisy. On the upside: the chalets we rented were new and well equipped, the supermarket sells everything you could possibly need and the beach is lovely. Over all though not more than 3 stars, three small stars.
