Lori I completely understand & so sorry for what you're going through.
I am 3 years on a biologic/injection medication & they have taken 2 months just to get a prior-auth. Meanwhile I'm now experiencing a flare up!! I was with their insurance company, PHX Health plan previously, so it very much concerns me why the huge delay!
The info exchanged between care1st and my GI doctor is slow & very much so inaccurate!
Their protocol for patients needing their specialty medication is absolutely awful & their non-urgent demeanor is disgusting!!!
As soon as I physically can, I will be switching insurance companies. I'd most definitely avoid this particular company!
