I have been a member of this organization for 15+ ...

I have been a member of this organization for 15+ years. I have given hundreds of dollars over the years, and that is fine. I do not have a $50000.00 truck, I can't afford to hunt at a fancy SD game farm. Me and my friends call ourselves dirt hunters. We hunt public land, road ditches, and bang on doors. I shot 1 rooster this year and flushed another, that was in 6 days of hunting. I understand that nobody can control weather, nesting conditions habitat etc. Maybe it's my imagination but this group seems like it has gone from what Dennis Anderson envisioned to $1000.00 leather jackets and the Pheasant shopping channel. I am 60 years old and will continue to take my third GSP out and only hunt for her enjoyment, but Damn it sure would be nice if she could get her nose on a bird, hen or rooster she doesn't care and the excitement of the point is what it is all about. Enough said.
