The Chateau is currently running at 50% capacity due to Covid. Although the hotel was booked at 52% capacity, they would not rent another room to myself and a travelling companion. The manager of the bar refused to allow us to finish our drinks. They escorted us off the property. No taxi service was available. It was raining. We had to call the RCMP to come pick us up and take us to lake Louise village. Thank you RCMP. No thank you to the chateau. The manager of the bar needs sensitivity training and some anger management issues. 5 4 is tough to take, but don t take it out on your guests, past, present or future.

I will elect to stay at the lake Louise Hostel International from now on. Beautiful facilities there and the cost? $52 instead of $570 a night! Save your money! The Brewster s group apparently doesn t need anymore!

Even cash can t buy hospitality some nights!
