Max Bielby Review of Infinity Home Improvement
I couldn t recommend infinity less.
I couldn t recommend infinity less.
We have a leak in our siding that is allowing water to make its way into our house on top of a window and causing damage. We called infinity to get a quote.
Mitch was our salesperson and was very responsive. The sales team is definitely trained to create a hard sell. But they could start installation sooner than anyone else we contacted so we made a deal for full replacement of siding, flashing, house wrap, and trim on a section of our house to fix the leak and replace water damaged boards. My original quote was over $1,800. Seemed fair.
On the day of installation, the installer Earl did not bring the materials or tools needed to replace anything. I received a call and he told me he could fix the issue with caulk. I then spoke with Bob (co-owner?) who assured me the caulk would fix our issue and told me they would be fair in refunding for the materials and time since the fix only took two hours and was much less involved. My mistake was not getting anything in writing.
Getting refunded was an extremely frustrating and time consuming hassle. It took over a week and calls multiple times a day to even get ahold of Bob. I was told several times how busy he is. My salesperson, though responsive and nice, was no help in getting a call back.
Once I finally did, Bob offered to refund me $500. So my price for two hours of work and a tube of caulk was going to be over $1,200. Seems high.
I encouraged Bob to rethink the number and he was only willing to come down to $500. Still seems high for what work was done, but I was sick of arguing. It s a handful of weeks since they did the work and nothing is fixed. I still have water leaking into my house above the same window, and if anything, it seems to be worse.
Disappointed, frustrated, and back to square one. I certainly won t be calling Infinity for another quote.
