A coworker recommended Habitual about 18 months ago, and this place has changed my health and lifestyle completely. After about an hour of conversation with head trainer Adam, he had clearly outlined a path for how I needed to progress towards my new fitness goals - and he was spot on with his assessment! Adam was very clear with his suggestions, and he never pressured me into a sale . On day one it was clear that Adam has built a gym that concentrates on people and fitness, and not on sales or hitting monthly quotas like other gyms I ve experienced.

Adam suggested that I start working with Ziad, twice a week. I have worked with many trainers in the past; I ve had the pleasure of being trained by award winning trainers and fitness instructors across Canada. However, I was lacking confidence and independence in the gym, and I didn t know how to progress my work load to reach my new goals and work around my scoliosis.

Ziad is, by far, the best trainer I have ever worked with. He is enthusiastic, extremely intelligent, passionate, and an outstanding communicator. He is kind, understanding, but also knows how to challenge you and push you to new levels. Ziad is a genuine and amazing person; he really cares about his clients and is constantly learning more and furthering his education - it s actually inspiring and contagious to work with someone who is so passionate about their career path. I think what really sets Ziad apart is that he concentrates on truly making your training personal; he really spends a lot of time listening deeply to his clients needs, goals, and lifestyle and creates a clear plan where he supports you integrating these changes into your life to get where you want to be. I honestly can t say enough about this man - he has literally changed my life.

Over the past 18 months, Ziad has been able to unleash something inside me that has finally shown me what my body is capable of. I have learned so much about training, programming, progression, and nutrition, and am now at a new level of fitness that I never thought would be possible. I now confidently go to Habitual 5 or 6 times a week, and this beautiful community and supportive gym has helped me build a new confidence that has translated into all areas of my life. What more could you ask for?
