The food is good and the drinks are great, but I have -never- been in a place where the music was so loud. It was so astonishingly loud I assumed it was a mistake on someone's part, and surely it would be turned down soon (after more than an hour, it wasn't) (in fact, it got even louder shortly after that). One of the songs was so ear-piercingly loud that when it reached its loudest point multiple people within our area (all at different tables) recoiled at the noise and proceeded to look at each other across the space in horror.
The waitstaff arguably couldn't have cared less, with one completely ignoring my question as to why it was loud by walking away from me, and the other (our waitress) telling me that "....oh...yeah, well-- since Saturdays are slow nights, we usually have a band." which honestly might be the most confusing reply she could have given me. I assume it was so loud she couldn't hear what I asked her, and instead took my motioning towards the speaker as some type of miming about how good the nonexistent band was.
Do you enjoy music that is a cross between 70's disco and 2000's worst electronic music? Great. Do you love to listen to it at a level that would not only wake the dead, it might actually put them back in the ground after? Boy, have I got the place for you.
It wasn't a good use of the $170 we spent that night.
