Pros: The resort is very nice. It is well-maintained and the most (see cons for clarification) of the staff there are very hardworking and extremely accomodating, especially considering all the challenges with COVID-19. The food was pretty good, but the menu is a bit limited for vegetarian-friendly options.

Cons: As I said, most of the staff was great. However, we did have an issue with one of the restaurant managers. My wife made a reservation for our anniversary dinner a few weeks in advance and specifically requested outdoor seating. The hostess said the only available time was 845pm, which is completely fine. However, when we go to dinner, the restaurant manager said outdoor seating is first-come, first-served. It is a little ridiculous that, in this COVID-environment, they only have 6 outdoor tables (they are a wedding venue, I'm sure they have more than 6 outdoor tables. Even during breakfast, we had to sit around a fire pit in order to eat outside). Second, he could be a little accomodating, considering we were extremely hesitant about eating inside. Had it been earlier, we could have found somewhere else to eat, but there are few options in Irvington. The experience ultimately left a pretty bad taste in our mouths. When we checked out, we explained that all was great except this experience. However, it doesn't seem like anything was done about it.
