Review for high tea at Blu Bar (36th floor) Visited on the 1/12/18 Pros: Stunning view, overlooking the harbour from the rocks end of the bridge. Buffet high tea - eat as much sweet and savoury as you desire. Delicious mock and cocktails. Top notch service as you'd expect at a hotel like this. Cons: Our booking was nowhere to be seen. No confirmation email, nothing. Food was tasty, but somewhat lackluster compared to the variety of high teas around Sydney. The lounge style layout of it was both its strength and weakness. It gave great light and unobstructed views, but for a couple on a date it provided little privacy for intimate conversation and groups surrounding us provided a fair amount of distraction. The teas were not sampled due to warm weather and delicious iced drinks. Definitely a pro when comparing high tea places for summer. Teas looked to be teabags, if that gives any indication. Overall, a 4/5 experience.
