Like every Friday, the usual race to the seats for the train to Tirano at 18.20 took place.
Wanting to avoid having to "fight" and pull shoulders to get a seat, I decided to go to the station 40 minutes before the departure of the train with the hope of getting at least one seat.
Unfortunately, 5 minutes before the scheduled departure time, the track number had not yet come out on the lighted board. The train arrived late, all the seats were filled in a short time, the passage spaces between the cars were filled of people, one crushed against the other (although the gift of the train forbids to stop in those spaces), also the corridors of the carriages were full (you could not travel the carriage!).
In addition to arriving late, he left late for a total of 30 minutes.
It is a shame to travel on these trains: they are dirty, old, malfunctioning and often late, if we add the fact that often there is not even a place to sit.
The most indignant thing is that the controllers also have the courage to ask for a ticket when the train is late and you are sitting on the ground in the middle of the suitcases.
(It seems to be in a third world country, not even in India these things happen).
We pay for a public service that sucks, that sucks so much that it would be barely okay if it were free.
What do you invest all the money we give you with tickets / passes? In better service? No. It's all a magna magna
Then one wonders why the Italians don't believe in politics and public services.
