I went to UMBC Hospital (ER) last night with HORRIBLE CHEST pains. It took 1 hr to get into TRIAGE and then I sat in the waiting room for 2.5 hrs before asking when I would be seen. The women behind the counter said to me , in VERY NASTY way, "You've only been here 2.5 hrs, there are some who have waited 7 hrs.... REALLY, I have SEVERE chest pains, and you're expecting me to wait for another 3-4 hours?! There were homeless people sleeping on the "loveseats" in the waiting room, trash on the floors, the bathrooms were FILTHY. NEVER GO TO THIS HOSPITAL ~ you may end up getting something you didn't come there with! WORST HOSPITAL EVER
