The approach to the hotel from the main road on the main road gives the impression of a housing estate/ semi industrial area. The architecture does the estate no favours but the experience overall is actually very good and I will return. I'm not a big spa user but the pool and spa area here are superb and really relaxing. The restaurant food is as good as the best but the space is a little empty and cavernous for my tastes. Expensive wines. The rooms are modern and fairly basic with a tendency to get overheated .Charming staff in all areas. The walk down to the sea is a little treasure- I could do it twice a day every day. Worth a day trip for the excellent coffee and scones in the foyer and a ramble down the woodland path.
