READ THIS, LET ME HELP YOU: Although I never received a call back about buying the truck (which I wasnt expecting anyways), the 3 star rating was all earned by Antonio! I had a great experience working with him and very sociable...but the part that's lacking is the finance dept. I cant blame my sales guy because he was just relaying the message, but like most dealerships they dont know how to strategically get people financed. He came back with numbers several times. I found out my credit was ran through 14 different lenders and I still got a super high interest rate of 16.5% which I actually had to go home and do the math myself to find out. My payments were going to be $540/ month on a $19k lower level new Colorado. My credit situation isn't the best like most Americans so I wasnt expecting much and I almost went for it but ended up having to leave which was a blessing in disguise. The next day I went back and gave a smaller dealership a chance, one that I had read great reviews about called TRUCKMASTERS on Bell Road. And unlike big dealerships that just come back with numbers, the finance manager actually sat down with me and let me explain my situation and approached accordingly while also telling me why and how he was going to get me approved. Long story short I walked away with a 5.5% interest rate on a 8k mile used 2016 Ram 1500. AND MY PAYMENTS WERE STILL $540/ MONTH FOR A VEHICLE $10K MORE AND 100X NICER! Its all about the financing. If you have great credit then a big dealership may be ok, but if you're looking for a team that cares about you and will work for you then go to TruckMasters (they sell cars too). Dont get hustled by an ignorant finance manager at any dealership. Go somewhere that cares about what you want not just what they can find. I posted a pic of my truck too. Way nicer than a lower model Colorado!
