Illegally denied me the right to rent with them. Dirty apartment in partial disrepair posted for viewing and renting which is also illegal. Refused to return my holding deposit on time.

My Response to the Owner's Comment Below from Jan 10, 2019: You denied me tenancy because a previous landlord 6 years ago in a different state sued me illegally and we settled as my non-payment was due to their refusal to do repairs. They were in breach of contract and not me, but they sued illegally without reason. I have performed perfectly on my contract with them. The reason you quoted in your email to deny me tenancy is because I was sued by my landlord and that is always an illegal reason and you were aware that it was not an eviction and they had to perform the emergency repairs that were overdue by several months to get my payment. Also, I received your refund check about a week after I requested it and not the same day as you state. Get your facts right before posting an official response, otherwise it is illegal again. I am happy to call you to discuss how you will remunerate me for your mistakes. I estimate you owe me about $9,500 in damages so far. I can discuss the details with you on the phone.
