Having stayed in Hotels across the country, even internationally - from 1 star mom & pop motels to 5 star signature resorts, I can honestly say that a week stay in this specific Sheraton was the WORST overall experience I can remember.
From the moment my wife and I checked in, We experienced nothing but problems. From consistent rude & unacceptable customer service from apathic, untrained hotel associates; to dirty, dated rooms in desperate need of remodeling and maintenance. We even had a security concern one evening that required my contacting Starwood corporate offices following an utter lack of interest by front desk personnel to display general concern or any solution whatsoever. Received a call from an extremely defensive Hotel General Manager two days later after Starwood said they would compensate 2 days of our stay, only to waste additional time not receiving any compensation or solution whatsoever, only increased frustration! Called 3x requesting a refrigerator to be delivered to our room, only to receive an old, dirty refrigerator that didn t work. Called front desk and waited for delivery of a replacement refrigerator that worked, but was even older and filled with rust stains all throughout the inside, which I ended up cleaning myself! A/ C broke in the room, it took 5 hours to get maintenance to arrive and repair. The breakfast buffet was subpar at best, most other hotels complimentary breakfast would represent an improvement. Even the parking lot, while large, hasn t been swept in years and is in desperate need of resurfacing. The outdoor pool had been drained, apparently for months. I could go on, however, I believe I ve made my point:) I can t believe Starwood allows this hotel to operate under their brand . Avoid staying here if you can, save some money or points and stay at the La Quinta or Holiday Inn next door!
