Our interaction with the third party insurance man...

Our interaction with the third party insurance managment company, Chard-Snyder

10/1/2015- were told Chard-Snyder had not been taking funds for health insurance and they wanted the $5,000 in full. Had to pay in full to continue insurance.

April 2018- Chard-Snyder didn t activate our Benny card, even though we put funds towards it; there was $160 worth of fees never returned to us, that we Expensed out of pocket. STILL OWED TO US.

June 19, 2018- Went on cobra. Was told just had to pay $660.72 to keep coverage current and sign an 18 month contract for insurance through Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield. Set up auto withdrawal for the 25th of each month (in order to have funds in by 1st of every month). Went to doctor and insurance was on Suspension. Called Chard-Snyder and they had made a mistake on amounts. Had to pay $3303.76 to re-activate insurance. Then was put on reinstatement which takes 10-15 business days. They did back pay that doctor visit. NO FUNDS OWED FOR THIS

10/25/2018-Paid for November coverage in the amount of $1651.88

10/26/2018-Letter Received that we had to pay a $400 increase to keep insurance going starting December 1, 2018.

10/26/2018- Emailed to cancel insurance and be effective 12/1/2018

11/2/2018 -Letter received that we had insurance through November and would no longer have insurance as of 12/1/2018

11/15/2018- Our son went into doctor and insurance was denied due to cancellation. Paid doctor cash for visit. ON A BILLING PLAN TO PAY THIS IN FULL OUT OF OUR OWN POCKET.

Called Chard-Snyder left message for manager. Never received return phone call.

11/20/2018- Went to fill prescription. Insurance still denied for cancelation. Paid cash for prescription. PAID OUT OF OWN POCKET

11/20/2018- Called Chard Snyder and they said they had fixed it that there was nothing they could do on their end. Called Blue Cross they stated we did not have insurance. Emailed Chard-Snyder asking for refund of $1651.88 as it was now end of month and no insurance coverage nor had the third party fixed their mistake.

11/21/2018-Recieved letter from Blue Cross of cancelation as of 10/31/2018

11/26/2018-Made our bank aware of this transaction. They needed police report. Contacted our local police.

11/30/2018- Called Chard-Snyder and was told they fixed it. Called Anthem Blue Cross and they said Chard-Synder told them to activate insurance 12/01/2018 then cancel it same day; was also told we did NOT have insruance coverage for the month of Novemeber. Called Chard-Snyder to request refund again. Chard-Snyder refused even though they never provided service for the funds they took out of our bank.

Requesting help in obtaining our funds paid for a service never provided in the amount of $1651.88. We would like to press charges against this company so they are forced to do what is right and just.

U.S. Bank has also been notified with above information and is also attempting to obtain our funds back from Chard-Snyder, but has been unsuccessful in getting our funds returned to us.

12/1/2018-told our insurance was reinstated then canceled.

12/13/2018- told our insurance was current for the month of December. Which goes against the contract we had. We are still forced to pay cash for doctor visits in November and now paying for two insurances for this month; one of which we canceled and have the letter from Chard stating our insurance coverage would not be active as of 12/1/2018.

Chard has directly gone against our wishes with our money and deceitfully did what they wanted with our money instead of refunded as requested.

We not only want our money back, but what others to know not to use this company. Especially businesses as they do not work for your employees.
