Took out of town guests this week and everything was great. I haven't been here in years, and was hoping the experience would be excellent as in years past and it was. Service was attentive and all the food was excellent. Our appetizers were awesome as the fried green tomatoes stood out as very excellent. We all had delmonico steak and they were cooked perfectly medium rare. The lobster bisque was amazing as well as the homemade bleu cheese dressing. We also enjoyed the dessert room as well. We ate way too much but since this is a special treat we went for it! There was a couple things that needed to be better such as our greeting in the dessert room was a little delayed, but we were reading the menu so I overlooked that. Also, when ordering multiple appetizers to share there needs to be extra serving utensils to serve and split up the items. We had to use our regular silverware to split up the items. Seems like a small thing, but it is something that should not be overlooked. Overall though it was a great meal on which to end my guests vacation. The reviewers that complain about the price are unexplainable, this is a HIGH END steakhouse. If you can't afford it, simply don't go. It is going to cost a good bit of money, but all my visits have been worth it and I can't wait to return.
