I've been to many doctors and not once have I found the process to set up an appointment this painful. You call their admin office, give in all your personal and insurance info, and then they tell you you'll give u a call back soon. Ended up waiting 2 days for a call back. Missed the call by a few seconds, so I called them back, ended up taking over half an hour of calling and 20 missed calls. Then I finally get them on the line, tell them I want a psychiatric evaluation, and then they tell me they want me to spend another 15-20 min on the phone answering questions.

I understand why they do this, it's to free up time for their doctors. But in my experience, they end up asking you all of these questions again when you actually come in. And I find it extremely inefficient calling an admin office instead of the branch I'd like to make an appointment at. Definitely cheap cost cutting measures.

Update- Made an appointment, and had to wait nearly two months. My followup appointment was set for two weeks later, and on the day of, the doctor called out sick and I was told I would have to wait 3 more weeks for an appointment. I tried to call them to switch my doctor to get an earlier appointment, was told that I would have to wait till the next day for the doctor to come in, so that they could confer with her to do so, and never received a call back. Lastly, the secretaries are rude, and become disgruntled and jaded when you ask them simple things, like setting up an appointment. Calling care plus is also an enormous hassle, as you have to call their headquarters, select an option, then go through an operator, who will transfer you. Even after that, they never seem to pick up, and you have to leave a message and wait for whenever they feel like calling you back.
