There is a large video at the entrance to introduce visitors to the Sanctuary which is very well done. It explains the reasons for the Sanctuary and how animals are introduced and cared for. The walkway is above the animals which seems to make the animals less nervous about people. There are wheelchairs available, a cafe, and a great ice cream shop. It was a great way to spend the afternoon. It is a 1.5 mile walk one way. Make sure you have comfy shoes.
