I am new to LA and generally get anti-aging treatments every 3-4 months, so I bought a groupon to help find a new doctor here in town.
Dr. Nettles' office is beautifully decorated and located in a great spot, and Sabrina and Fernanda are extremely classy and warm and accommodating; it seemed as if this could be the perfect fit. I was pretty well sold on the yearly package they offer until Dr. Nettles came in to do my treatment. Though he appeared handsome and charming and I genuinely wanted to like him, as soon as he opened his mouth he was condescending and snide and questioned my ability to comprehend how a neurotoxin affects a neurotransmitter without being a chemist. I was shocked, to say the least, and continued to have my intelligence insulted as well as my "genetic imperfections" pointed out as the consultation continued. He closed our appointment with a hug and a kiss, as though perhaps we had bonded through this, but I can confidently say that I would feel more comfortable combatting my "imperfections" anywhere other than there. While I get the impression Dr. Nettles is talented and sharp, his bedside manner leaves quite a bit to be desired, and there are lots of options for this treatment in LA that don't involve being patronized.
