I really wanted to leave 5 stars. I called because of an issue with the AdBlue tank not registering as full and returned a fault where if not fixed the car would not restart. My MMI system had also gone out that morning. I was able to come in without an appointment which was great. They gave me a loaner and told me they would call when everything was diagnosed. They had the AdBlue issue fixed the next day, but informed me that the MMI issue was a $4k fix and even after the component replacement, the backup camera may not function properly. I was bummed, but more relieved that the AdBlue issue was fixed under warranty and that subsequent fill ups would be covered for free. I went and picked my freshly washed car up and asked the service advisor for the part number for the component they said I needed and started investigating the issue on my own. Come to find out, the fuse needed replacing. THE FUSE!!! A $5 fix for a diagnosed $4k problem! I paid $160 for a wrong diagnosis. I will give them the benefit of the doubt and not assume that they were trying to pull one over on me, especially with the awesome way my major issue with the emissions system was handled. But it was a major oversight to quote $4k over a fuse, especially since the MMI system is so much more than a stereo receiver. In all, I would recommend Audi as a brand. I love my Q7 and for the most part, the service team at this location is efficient. They also have a great selection. They say all s well that ends well and I m just glad the MMI system is now working and the emissions system is running as intended.
