Nobody attends this school because it's a good school with good programs, they come because it's 20 minutes from the beach. If it wasn't, hardly anyone would go here because it is extremely mediocre university. It's very laid back beachy culture, where most just scrape by. It's rated about 10th in the NC university system out of about 15. They've been in the media in recent years for paying giant 6 digit salaries to program administrators and coaches, but hire out of a temp pool for staff or support positions.
