Top-quality products, but be sure to meticulously check your receipt every time. I made several trips to REI this month as it's near my house and I needed supplies for a bike trip. The first time I purchased two items ($14.95 and $3.00) and got charged $27 after tax. Quickly discovered the register was charging $19.95 and $3.50 for each, and the clerk had to manually override it. When I went back the next day, I purchased a jacket because the brand was 70% off "the marked price" for the July 4th sale. The coat was "originally $70.83," but two price reductions later, it was selling at "now $34.83." I got charged the latter price (which clearly wasn't even 70% off the original price), and when I complained about the false advertising, the clerk tried to sell me some story about the actual original price being $100-something. IF YOU'RE NOT CAREFUL, THIS STORE WILL OVERCHARGE YOU!
