So we came here for my niece's 13th birthday. We were 9 people total and my niece wanted to sit outside. The hostess informed us that they only allow parties of up to 8 outside, however, we asked them if they could make an exception since it's her birthday and it's only one extra person. At first, the restaurant wouldn't budge on their policy. But we refused indoor seating. So then they said that we can sit outside but only two tables can be joined. One table will have to sit separately. I don't
Know why anywhere would even offer that solution because who wants to sit separately? Especially on a birthday. Secondly, all rules are guidelines for businesses, they can be bent if the business wants to and if they use common sense. Pizza Antica was just being anal. They thought we would take their crummy offer but we decided to go elsewhere because of their poor service. As we were walking away, suddenly the hostess comes back to say they can now accommodate us outside. So pathetic. Shows what a bunch of liars they are and reveals that they were just trying to play hardball. A restaurant is a place that serves people, we come to pay for food and service. They think they can get by on half assed service and we'll be grateful. I don't think so. Peace.
