Went to the ER and what's with the security guards...

Went to the ER and what's with the security guards everywhere? The gentleman searched my bag but didn't do a very good job. I didn't have anything prohibited but I know I could have had pretty much anything I wanted in there. Anyways, parking is insane. I figured there would be a parking lot for patients near the ER. Nope, just a valet lot. After driving around and finding nothing but employee parking garages, I finally found the one for common folk near the cancer center...on the other side of the hospital.
