I am so impressed with Sekure Merchant Solutions! I am a Physician in North Carolina and recently had to close my practice due to COVID. I had to lay off my staff in March so have had to do everything in the practice that my staff always did. That meant that I had no idea how to do many things! Obviously collecting payments from patients who owed money was key given that I had no revenue coming in. When I first started, I called in and a wonderful representative walked me through how to take a credit card payment over the phone using the terminal. He explained it beautifully and called to check on me a week later to be sure everything was going well. I made a few mistakes along the way and he talked me through each one with incredible patience every time. As the transactions were decreasing in number, the monthly fees, while very reasonable, were significant in comparison to my use. I called in and asked if there was a way to process credit card payments in a more cost effective way. I hit the jackpot when my call was answered by a wonderful representative, Danielle, who cleared cared about me not only as a business owner but as a person whose life had been upended by COVID. She reviewed my account, did some research calling several departments to see what programs I was eligible for and set me up on a virtual terminal so I would not be charged for the physical terminal. She patiently helped me as I encountered issues at many steps along the way(mostly because my staff-who were long gone- had set up the account so we had to unravel sign on, passwords and security information, finally resetting everything.) She looked at my charges and helped me come up with a way to lower my costs as much as possible, enrolling me in a special program which will decrease my costs greatly. I think Danielle has called me 10 times, not just getting back to me in response to issues, but to follow up to see how I was doing, patiently reviewing with me many times how to process payments, understanding that I am overwhelmed, with even the simplest tasks seemingly much harder than they are . In our last conversation this morning, which should have been the conclusion of her responsibility, she ended by saying "I will call to check on you in a week or so to see how things are going. Call me anytime if you have any questions or encounter any problems." I have no doubt that she will call me. I have had to deal with many companies and many representatives over the past 8 months, trying to unravel and eventually close down a 17 year old business and NO ONE has been as helpful and caring as Danielle. I will truly miss talking to her although I know she will give me the follow up call in a week that she promised and likely will call me periodically to check on me. It is people like Danielle who have helped me get thought this difficult and emotional process. Sadly there have been very few people with the compassion Danielle has shown me, people who went the extra mile to help me figure out ways to decrease costs as I work to close out this practice. I am very grateful to Danielle, to the first rep. who helped me whose name I don't recall :( and to the company in general. I strongly recommend Sekure Merchant Solutions to anyone looking to set up credit card payments. The virtual payment system on line is great for touchless transactions.
