Well when I was quoted $2000 a year for my Kawasaki Ninja 500R 4 years ago, I said to my insurance company at the time - "You've got to be kidding me?" A friend of mine turned me on to Riders Plus and their quote was considerably less. You can also use their online service and get an electronic quote. Great staff and easy to talk too. They seem to know a lot about insuring motorcycles which is great.
