We highly recommend Jen Heakes.

My wife and I initially went with a different agent to start the search for our first home. We experienced frustration after frustration looking at and bidding on homes that were out of our range. Jen knew the market, knew Toronto, knew what we wanted, knew what to look at (and what not to look at), knew where we'd find it, knew how to do the deal, knew how to negotiate, knew how the sellers would respond, and in the end got us our first home. It took about a month and a half start to finish. For anyone who knows, this is a unicorn in the Toronto real estate market. Especially at the highly competitive price point we were at. Jen also has an extensive network of inspectors, contractors, lawyers, and cleaning people, who by association are just as honest, solid and trustworthy as she is.
