This is a private club.

This is a private club.

Most of the members are in the arts. The building on Gramercy Park in Manhattan that the club is located in was the residence of Samuel Tilden, a political figure in the 1800s who ran for President.

There is currently an art exhibit at the club. Admission to the exhibit and therefore to some of the building is free for the general public- just go to their website and sign up. Though the works in the exhibit don't differentiate itself from much of what you see in galleries, it's not bad and worth seeing. The building the club is in is definitely worth seeing .
