I have two Toyota's, a Camry and and Avalon. I have always been treated fairly except for my experience at Toyota of Sunnyvale. This morning I went in to get help with my headlight lightbulb. It had recently gone out and I had purchased a replacement bulb. When I drove in, the greeter in service said that it would most likely be free. Then an older woman named Lori came over to my window, and as she was smacking her gum she asked for my mileage. I then asked if there would be a cost involved and she said yes $75.00! I asked to speak to a manager and the service supervisor came out named Eric and confirmed that it would be $75.00 because there was too much time involved! What? He then said I suppose you want it done for free...SHAME ON YOU Lori and Eric for not being Good champions for Toyota! I have been going to dealerships for years and have never been treated like this!!
Bill, Manager of Toyota of Sunnyvale, I just read your feedback to my review on Yelp in which you said that it took a lot of time to replace the light bulb so you had to justify wanting to charge me $75.00 I also just had my light bulb replaced on the drivers side, and it took all of 5 minutes. You wanting to charge me $75.00 is robbery and you do not even come close to the service I have received from Toyota in the past.
I had it replaced by a local car mechanic, and he charged me nothing. When I told him that you wanted to charge me $75.00, he rightfully said, "I want to be able to sleep at night!"
